Anti 5 Potassium Silicate

 

This is a nutrient containing Potassium and Silicon. It creates a protective layer that protects the plant from adverse environmental conditions.

 

The Composition:

It is a food and protective compound containing Potassium and Silicon elements provided facilely to plant.  

It contains 10% of Potassium Oxide and 25% of Silicon Oxide.

 

The Potassium Element:

  • When Potassium is poorly fed, the plant becomes sensitive and easy to be infected.
  • Additionally, the deficiency of Potassium leads to the simple accumulation of Nitrogen in plant cells such as amides used by pathogens.
  • It was found that supplying the plant with Potassium in a balanced manner with Nitrogen element leads to a decrease in the infection degree whether such infection is by Obligate Parasitic Fungi or by Facultative Parasitic Fungi. It also prevents Bacterial Spot, Rust, and Damping Rot caused by Rhizoctonia Solani.

 

The Silicon Element:

  • The soluble Silicon element in the form of Potassium Silicate has a high ability to increase plant resistance to fungal diseases as it isolates fungal and insect pests from plant tissues by forming a layer not suitable for the fungal spores' growth or for the insects' development, It also prevents infection.
  • It also increases the strength of cell wall and makes them resistant to the penetration of the fungus hives.
  • Silicon has been found to prevent rust in Poaceae crops such as wheat and rice.
  • It also reduces the possibility of catching late blight in solanaceae such as tomatoes and potatoes.
  • Silicon has been found also to form Flavonoids depending on its effect. Flavonoids are natural compounds found in plants that are resistant to diseases as they have the ability to break down the walls of bacterial cells and pathogenic fungi.

 

"Anti 5" Characteristics

  • The compound provides the plant with Silicon and Potassium elements that are necessary for the different growth stages thereof. Such elements improve the structural formation of the plant, increase the size of the fruits, and maintain the water balance of the plant.
  • It increases the strength and ability of the roots to penetrate and spread in the soil and to absorb water and nutrients depending on Silicon. Silicon, therefore, supports the superficial cells, protects such cells from cutting, and reduces infection of Roundworms.
  • Silicon is an essential component of Poaceae as it increases the wheat crop and prevents Plants Nutation and increases the productivity of rice and protects it from pests. It also stimulates rapid growth in maize, greatly increases the productivity of Sugar Cane, and raises the efficiency of Lawn, and doubles its strength.
  • It increases the ability of plants to grow and produce an abundant crop of high quality as it protects plants from environmental factors and fungal and insect infections such as aphids, spiders, and whitefly.
  • This compound reduces the plants' absorption of Sodium, Chlorine, and Cadmium. Therefore, it makes plants more resistant to soil and water salinity.
  • This compound provides irrigation water, improves soil properties, and supports biological resistance. It is also considered a source of energy for soil beneficial microorganisms.

The Usage Rates:

Foliar Feeding

6 Cm3/ liter of water for vegetable crops (tomatoes - potatoes - pumpkin - pepper).

8 Cm3/ liter of water for fruit trees.

6-8 Cm3/ liter of water for field crops (wheat - rice - maize - sugar beet – sugar cane).

Addition with water irrigation: 2-4 liter/ acre

  • This compound is suitable for all crops, all kinds of lands, all irrigation methods, and hydroponics.
  • It is compatible with most antifungals and is not compatible with metallic compounds. It is preferred to be tested to ensure that there is no precipitation.
  • Storage: It shall be stored at a temperature of at least 15°C.
